About Me

My name is Matia Landry. I am going into my third year of software engineering. I have a deep passion for science, physics, illustration and graphic design. I value a deep understanding of how things work and operate and strive to understand the world around me. I believe that the arts enlighten and inspire us to create and science gives us the tools to do so. The world is our oyster and everything already exists, it’s just waiting to be harnessed.

“Invention is the most important product of man’s creative brain. The ultimate purpose is the complete mastery of mind over the material world, the harnessing of human nature to human needs.”

– Nikola Tesla, My Inventions

I focus largely on creativity and expressing it I thoroughly enjoy actualizing ideas and making them real through art. Whether it be commission work or personal projects, having the ability to visualize your ideas is priceless. I ensure that my designs and ideas are visually pleasing, especially when I am involved in group work (As demonstrated in the engineering academic projects). This helps me in various situations, from creating character designs and commission work, to concise circuit diagrams and 3D modeling contraptions and mechanisms.

Looking Forward

I am looking into the AI space and doing my own learning on the side to better understand the field. I plan to work closely with AI in the near future.
